Points to note:
- All workshops will be delivered in face-to-face mode
- Students will be notified of the venue with a confirmation email 1-2 days before the workshop
- Each workshop allows 3-10 students, on a first-come-first-served basis. Workshop of less than 3 students will be cancelled
- The Chinese Help Desk is operated by the University Grants Committee (UGC) funds, therefore CHD is only available to students of HKU’s UGC-funded programmes (undergraduate, research postgraduate (full-time MPhil/PhD) and government-funded taught masters).
- If you are a student of a self-financed Taught Postgraduate Programmes (taught master's degree programmes), CHD is NOT able to serve you and your booking WILL be cancelled

In this workshop, students will learn about the relationship between lyrics and tones in Cantopop. They will also have the opportunity to try simple lyric rewrites to apply the knowledge they have gained.
